"ALGRTHMS" (algorithms), Ziyons 4th solo offering, is a project that fully encapsulates who he is as an artist. The title of the album is a play on words which equally represents the music as well as the new age ushered in by the 2020 pandemic. With the heavy use of chopped up samples, driving rhythms and a solid low end, Ziyon fully showcases his ability to create an atmosphere through sound. On the track “Firefly”, Ziyon sets the tone by commissioning the listener to “...shine your light on the world”. On “River Runs” he shares the spotlight with acclaimed musician/producer RFKoncept who breathes life into the track with his smooth delivery on the trumpet. The closing track “LVN” finds Ziyon in his element by approaching the sensuality of love. All in all, this project is a 30 minute journey that foreshadows the direction this song writer/beat maker/ producer plans to take in the years to come.
